Wie telefonisch besprochen: gerne binden wir Collabora als ein Service in fairapps.net ein.

Wir können eine Subdomain einrichten collabora.fairkom.net auf welche IP?

Gute Anleitung für Docker https://ollis.blog/tutorial-integration-von-collabora-online-in-nextcloud-13/ - wenn im selben internen Netz braucht es kein ssl. Auf eigener VM wäre natürlich auch okay.

Hi @roland.alton: after we have finally migrated all the old services and the authentication provider (thanks to the two weeks of holidays!), We start with the construction of new services like onlyoffice (which is a horrible piece of software, from the sysop point of view) and collabora (which has so many horrible security implications, after a short overview). We have not forgotten this task and will come back to it soon.

wir habens jetzt soweit getestet und es läuft. Collabora CODE läuft bei uns auf einem Server; wir würden euch ein Testpaket einrichten und einen ersten Telefontermin anbieten.

Derzeit gibt es weder von Mitgliedern oder Kunden den Wunsch nach einer Alternative zu OnlyOffice, das wir derzeit in nextcloud eingebunden haben und sehr gut funktioniert.

Wenn dann wären wir neugierg auf Collabora als Stand-Alone Cloud Portal das wir zusätzlich mit einem key in unsere nextcloud einbinden. Aber wie gesagt, wir haben derzeit keinen Business Case dazu, daher eher mal abwarten.

OnlyOffice erlaubt in der Community Version kein Editieren auf mobilen Endgeräten. CODE hat gut aufgeholt und wir wollen uns das nochmal näher anschauen.

Hier ein Testordner auf einer nextcloud auf einem RaspberryPi https://staufen.alton.at/index.php/s/qXB4qw6KGWTYXsJ - funktioniert prächtig.

Was man bei CODE ausblenden müsste ist der Willkommens-Screen, der ist für Enduser sehr verwirrend (erwähnt auf der nächsten Seite "kleine Teams" und versucht WOPI zu erklären ...).

Alternativ sollte man wohl Partner werden, um LTS Versionen anbieten zu können https://www.collaboraoffice.com/partner-programme/ - da wird dann auch ein anderer Willkommensscreen erscheinen. Die LTS Version kostet dann vermutlich eine Subscription (oder ist das nur direkt bei collaboraoffice.com so und das Pricing entscheidet jeder Partner selbst?)

There is a very long discussion about the Welcome popup page which is annoying many users and admins. It had been a config option, but has been moved to the binary. The CODE maintainers insist on it to inform any users that CODE is for home use only. Either you build your own image or do dirty hacks https://github.com/CollaboraOnline/online/issues/4489#issuecomment-1157427118

A cleaner solution would be to try to redirect the welcome.html in the proxy to a modified page:
