Create a build release

Commits from branch mergeWith1.20.0 have been manually cherry-picked and committed into fairchatDevelop, based on fresh pull from upstream RocketChatRN, see https://git.fairkom.net/chat/fairchat.ReactNative/wikis/how-to-sync-repos#start-over-in-a-nutshell

So far all seems to work fine.

@Beier lease do some more testing. A debug build is at repo.fairkom.net/download/fairchat.apk (you need to run npm start and do the reverse proxy)

@armin.felder we need a production release build so that we can test without Metro server connected. This way? https://www.instamobile.io/android-development/generate-react-native-release-build-android/

After some more testing we are ready to deploy to Play Store.

changed milestone to %V 2.0

added fairchat_release.keystore generated by @armin.felder for Qt base app to android/app dir (also converted it to pkcs12, but it has to be JKS). the keystore and the keys are also in keepass.

put keys in gradle.properties, put this and keystore in .gitignore so that it is not published in the repo

we faced a problem with missing symlinks:

ras@riffler:~/Software/fairchat.ReactNative$ react-native run-android --variant=release

Execution failed for task ':app:bundleReleaseJsAndAssets'. Could not list contents of '/home/ras/Software/fairchat.ReactNative/node_modules/@babel/helper-create-class-features-plugin/node_modules/@babel/core/node_modules/.bin/semver'. Couldn't follow symbolic link.

removing that bin file was not an option as it does not exist, so we try to rebuild the node modules in the working dir root:

rm -rf node_modules
npm install
yarn
react-native run-android --variant=release

hurray, we have a production build

remove earlier builds with same key first on device

marked the checklist item android/app/google-services.json (has got many more products ...) as completed

marked the checklist item iOS as completed
