• whenever I click on the translation button and choose the target language, I am always speaking

Desired state

As a interpreter I would like to be able to mute myself, while speaking in a target language So: show a specific "mute" button depending on the chosen translation

I do not understand this requirement. Please provide a use case. Muting while talking to the floor?

One can always mute him/herselt with Alt + Shift + M.

m is now the mute button (for translators)
