Chrome / Chromium works best, as it supports P2P Multicast and saves bandwidth for everybody and CPU load on the fairmeeting servers. But you can also use Firefox ([may result in lower video quality](https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/issues/4758#issuecomment-604463127)).
Chrome / Chromium works best, as it supports P2P Multicast and saves bandwidth for everybody and CPU load on the fairmeeting servers. Also a latest Edge browser works fine (as it got a Chrome engine embedded end of 2019). But you can also use Firefox ([may result in lower video quality](https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/issues/4758#issuecomment-604463127)). Safari users have to disable the “WebRTC Unified Plan” feature in the developer settings to be able to join.
