Syncing Calendars between GroupOffice and Nextcloud
GroupOffice and NextCloud both have Calendars.
Are these intended to be identical?
I see different results.
If I log into GO, I see my calendar. I can sync them with my Android 9 (actually LineageOS 16) by adding a Exchange account.
They are visible in Ubuntu's built in calendar after adding NC as an 'Online Account' with user@fairkom.net/nextcloud.
But here fairkom.net/nextcloud/index.php/apps/calendar/
is nothing.
If a non frequent user who wants to access a calendar, by visiting fairapps.net and the accidentally click FairCloud instead of FairOffice (both might hide a calendar, right?) they will see a different calendar that is not synchronized with the GO one, ore vice versa.
This is the probable root-cause of problems found after discussions with the krafthuette@fairkom.net users.
By what is this backed? Is the same DataBase (or whatever storage) behind them Are they supposed to synchronize them selves? Are they completely separate? If so, why does ubuntu see it?
The problem for the krafthuette@fairkom.net users is already solved by propagating proper access links, i.e. https://fairkom.net/groupoffice/#calendar
But his behaviour still feels weird, that's why I am reporting.
