Fairmeeting does not work with LinuxMint

I'm not a programmer so I don#t know what I can do to improve this issue. But when I get onto fairmeeting, the part where you can adjust the audio is immediately turned off, meaning the audio output and I cannot adjust it with my mouse. In fact after getting on fairmeeting I cannot adjust anything with the mouse and it just freezes. And then when I shut down my computer it takes really a long time almost 10 minutes for it to come back on. Which usually takes only a few seconds. That is very unfortunate.
