wrong widget registration / The widget is not registered correctly

When adding the widget on the uni-graz matrix element-web client, we receive the following message:

I can click repair registration, which then asks for some permission and the need for reloading the webpage. After reloading, it asks for more permissions again and then works.

Maybe it has to do with some whitelisting of a matrix/element instance other than our fairchat?
