OpenCast seems to have streaming support included. Has debian packages and should work on k8s https://github.com/mtneug/containerized-opencast-workshop/tree/master/k8s/02-opencast

PeerTube has Live-Streaming capabilities in it's upcoming release. Could also be a nice solution for making videos available to the public.

Yes we've seen that they reached their fund raising ceiling.
We also have some fund raising budget left to deploy a peer tube instance, see https://git.fairkom.net/fairapps/portfolio/-/issues/2#note_27925

fair.tube based on PeerTube is up and running. Streaming service works nice.
