Fengoffice is an open source collaboration platform developed and supported by Feng Office and the OpenGoo community. It is a fully featured online office suite with a similar set of features as other online office suites, like G Suite, Microsoft Office Live, Zimbra, LibreOffice Online and Zoho Office Suite. Include project management, document management, contact management, e-mail and time management. Text documents and presentations can be created and edited online. Files can be uploaded, organized and shared, independent of file formats.
This project started before 2008 and is a very matured software.
In general terms, Feng Office has seemed like a complete productivity suite, which can give a lot of play in an SME interested in carrying out collaborative projects among several employees, or who opt for teleworking. While its minor applications (tasks, contacts, calendars) are very well resolved and have nothing to envy other services, fails miserably in what should be their priorities: email and document management. However, if we do not have many office claims, it may be an option to consider due to its price-quality ratio.
