Once you login into OCP you will see your dashboard. You can access the Work plan in two ways:
- **'Your Projects'**: Here you can access the work plan (and the different associated tasks) related to each project by selecting the project on which you are going to work.
- **'Your Project Tasks'**: Here you will see the whole work plan from all the different projects in which you are participating/coordinating…
Let's see each:

When you click on **‘Your Projects’** you will see all the projects in which you are involved, as coordinator or participant. Just click on the project for which you want to see the work plan.

In **‘Active Processes’** you will see all the open work plans. Just click on the one in which you want to collaborate.

### YOUR PROJECT TASKS

Here you can see the list of all the open processes (work plans) in the projects that you participate. So just click on the task you want to do.
Once you have selected the Work Plan you want to work on just click on it to see the different tasks associated with it. We will focus on the **“Work”** section.

Let's see the different possibilities we have. For each associated task there are two options:
- **‘I’ll work on this later’**. By clicking here you can choose to do this task and enter the date when you are going to start to work on it. You can write a description of what you are going to work on in more detail.

- **‘Join this task’**. A task can be done by more than one person, so when it is taken by someone you can also click ‘Join’ in order to collaborate on it. When you click on it, an email is sent to the person who started the task to inform them that another person wants to collaborate on it.
- **‘I did some work on this’**. Use this feature whenever you log actual work done for a task. You can log work on one task as many times as you want, whenever you work on the task. It doesn't matter if you have committed to the task or said you want to join the task, you can still log work on it. By default it is supposed to be a paid task, but by clicking on the **“is contribution”** option to deselect it, it will be considered as voluntary work - which is also always welcome!
![image10](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/4c425be6d2ce8233a2fcd7395219e5cb/image10.png)
There are two more features you have to take into account:
- **'Invite a Collaborator'**. This option appears when you join a task and need some help from others or want others to collaborate on the task. Doing it it will send a mail to collaborators.
- **'Log unplanned work'**. If you do some work on the process that isn't planned (i.e. no task exists for it), you can use this button to log that work. It will show up as "unscheduled work", but you can get credit for it in the same way as scheduled work, so you can create a new task for this process, for you or for someone else to do. This is adding to the process plan.

Finally you can see the work done by the members and the description of what has been done.

In **'Task History'** you can see all the tasks you have already done - both simple tasks and tasks that are part of a process.

### How to set up Plan Processes
![image17](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/7c284f423df231b60c52e22c95e3732d/image17.png)
Go to **'Plan Project Processes'**.
![image18](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/b172f2194ba978904ce08346bb4e6c0f/image18.png)

![image19](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/78807516dd990555b5c487a42eb62c2d/image19.png)
Select the project associated (the work area in which you are going to set up the work plan) and a pattern (select **'communication work only'** or **'work only process'**).
We are developing these patterns in order to fit with the area’s work patterns.
![image20](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/04d863676e862f4208a8f7f656b6a5ee/image20.png)
Select the patterns that fit the tasks of the plan process (if for a specific task none fits you can select **“none of them”**).
Select the start and end date and add the Process name. Once all of this is done, click on **'Save Process & Exit'**.
Once the Plan process is created you can add more tasks by clicking on **“Add a work requirement”**.
![image21](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/63201ed72bb691bee65ec66bdb0e17a1/image21.png)
Remember that also you can add more unplanned work at any moment by clicking on **“Log unplanned work”**.
That’s all for now! Let's work together, and remember this is a **first draft** of the Tutorials that are under construction, as is OCP itself, so stay patient, give us feedback, and lets do it all together! ;)
### HOW TO VALIDATE WORK PROCESSES
To account the work done by everyone and calculate the value distribution each task/Process needs to be validated by at least two people from the work area (it can't be people involved in the job under review). The goal of this step is to review that everything is done before being paid and also to have a record of the work and time we are spending (remember it is used also to account for work done voluntarily).
To make the process more easy and transparent we have an app called Kispagi that helps with this, so first go to http://kispagi.fair.coop/:
![validation1](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/d768f7efef05550a19599ca525755f19/validation1.png)
There you can see by month, Area and people all the processes logged on OCP (the numbers with tag # ) and passing the mouse over you can have data related to the process in question, such as the name of the process, related tasks, and how many validations are still pending.
![validation2](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/aee06bf813c8e6a98c307ee44bc7fc2c/validation2.png)
You can also select the month to see the work processes pending to be validated:
![validation5](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/8c19dcff2937b9fda685c67716be26e8/validation5.png)
Select the work process you want to validate and click on the number so it redirects you to the OCP Process (remember to log into OCP before starting validations)
![validation3](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/747ac9f6d6cf3a23dfbf296cee7949e4/validation3.png)
Once in OCP just click on **Log unplanned work** and fill in the form as shown in the image:
![validation4](https://git.fairkom.net/faircoop/MediaCommunication/uploads/7982bd64797184ac7d0352882d834b09/validation4.png)
Is very important to set up the **Event date** at the end of the month of the work process (even if you probably do it during the first days of the following month) so that it is accounted for in the correct month.
Select **Type of Work**: none of them
Select on Quantity 0 (as is only validation) and in **Unit** select hours
Finally in the description box write #VALIDATE and save. |
